Movie Name: Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah
Rank:

Review:
My personal favorite (hence the extra godzilla ranking). This one has everything! Time travel, psychic powers, androids, cyborg monsters, fantastic special effects and, of course, the return of Ghidrah [now known as "King Ghidorah"] who looks incredibly awesome, especially as "Mecha King Ghidorah"! And if all this wasn't enough, it also features the origin of Godzilla himself! The plot itself is deliciously convoluted, as time travelers from the future enlist the aid of some present-day Japanese to go back in time to prevent Godzilla from ever being created in the first place. There are double-crosses and triple-crosses [is that even a word?] galore, and nothing turns out the way you expect. Of course, all this time travel plays havoc on the continuity of the other films in the series, both past and future, but who cares? Sure, there are some cheesy moments, but for me this just adds to the charm. One of my favorite scenes: two navy officers during WWII spy the time-travellers' ship passing overhead. Thinking it to be from another planet, they decide not to report it for fear they won't be believed. Final line -- "Let's just keep it as our secret. You can tell your son about it when he's born, Major Spielberg."
