What's New!

The Temple of Godzilla is, for all intents and purposes, a "finished" site. This means that I've pretty much put up all the content that I'm planning to put up and I don't regularly update it anymore. Think of it, if you will, as an on-line museum devoted to Godzilla, with plenty of exhibits. Basically, I just no longer have the time to devote to this site the way I once did, and I hope people can continue to enjoy it for what it is.

Having said that, I do plan to occasionally make changes which I will mention on this page. Most importantly, I still plan to post reviews of new movies as I see them, but I may also add new material every now and then as the whim strikes me. For example:

• May 19, 2014 --The new American Godzilla movie has now opened, and I have seen it! In IMAX 3D, no less! You can read my review here.
• May 6, 2014 -- Has it really been nearly 9 years since my last update? Man, oh man, oh man... Only 10 more days until the new American Godzilla movie opens in theaters and I am totally psyched about it. The trailers look totally awesome, with just the right mixture of suspense, gravitas, insane special effects and top-notch acting. No sign yet of the trademark plasma breath, but I guess we'll have to wait and see. Stay tuned for a detailed review once I actually get the chance to see it (In IMAX 3D, preferably)!
• August 14, 2005 -- No, I'm not dead. And to prove it, I just posted reviews of the last two Godzilla movies ("Godzilla vs. Mothra vs. Mechagodzilla: Tokyo S.O.S." and "Godzilla: Final Wars") to the Movie Reviews Page. Maybe someday I'll even add video clips from them to the Video Clips Page. Hey -- you never know....
• December 13, 2003 -- Added some exciting information to the News and Rumors page regarding the release of two of the newest movies on DVD in the U.S. Also, due to popular demand, I finally got around to putting the Godzilla Photo Gallery back up, in all of it's former glory (and then some). Who loves ya, baby?

• August 25, 2003 -- Actually added some news and rumors to the Godzilla News and Rumors page.
Also, added a scrolling news banner to the main page to alert readers to important news and upcoming events.
• August 20, 2003 -- Added a video clip of the latest Godzilla movie, Godzilla x Mechagodzilla (a.k.a. "Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla III) to the Video Clips Page.
• August 12, 2003 -- Added a review of the latest Godzilla movie, Godzilla x Mechagodzilla (a.k.a. "Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla III) to the Movie Reviews Page.
